Shade Tree Commission

The Shade Tree Commission was established as an advisory board to the Borough to offer recommendations on the planting and care of shade trees, ornamental trees, and shrubbery located within Borough parks and properties, as well as along local roads.  The Commission also provides advice and recommendations to local residents on plantings within their properties.    

 There are five members on the Board, including a President and Secretary, in addition to a Borough Council liaison.  The members are all volunteers appointed by the Mayor for a five-year term.  Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm at the Crawford House.  Interested residents are welcome to attend.
